I visited Mark West at his other site he is a very competitive man good at his job. If I had 4x4 I would not hesitate to go to his garage.I have had recent work done on my range Rover evoque cam belt geabox oil change. I would not go anywhere else.

Had an issue from my Land Rover today, a knocking sound from underneath the vehicle one of the mechanics found and rectified the issue within mins of turning up and no charge. Great Service and very professional. Booked a Haldex Service and some welding to be at the end of the month.

Found West 4x4 on Google after being let down badly by the main Southampton Land Rover Dealer who basically phoned up the day before and said they couldn't do the job for three months. West replaced timing chain and other ancillary parts that needed changing. They gave me a health check on the rest of the vehicle as they had it apart and also replaced other parts that they saw needed replacing. I found them very helpful and the gentleman who served me was extremely friendly and very helpful. The car was ready on time and the whole experience was seamless with no fuss at all. The overall price was very fair compared with others. I couldn't recommend them enough - great job.

Really knowledgeable company. I have recently purchased a 14 plate defender 90 and wanted it checked over. They were really thorough and provided a list of must do and can do. Car was ready on time and didn’t feel pressured to get anything done that wasn’t necessary. Have booked in to do more work in about a month, when they are next available. Great to have such a reputable company so close.

The skills, knowledge and experience of the Land Rover range of vehicles, of any age, at this workshop is quite exceptional. For a number of years I have used an LR Specialist local to me in East Yorkshire, the loss of significant knowledge there left me searching for a new Vehicle support team. I'm very particular, and location of the workshop was considerably less important than their skills. I know nothing about car maintenance, I drive the car a LOT and know when something isn't right, probably before a mechanic can tell; but I'm clueless about causes and remedies. After recommendation, I took my old RRS down to West 4x4 for it's annual service. They were excellent. Solved an additional problem with opening & closing the car and identified work that should be doen over the next year. I will keep travelling to West 4x4 because after the service, repair and unexpected, instant support, they have given me absolute confidence that they are specialists in LR vehicles. The owner is said to be a bit gruff/blunt ... I got on well with him and found his directness refreshing and a sign of confidence. A great LR workshop, I count myself as one of their customers now and look forward to building a mutually beneficial relationship with them. Couldn't over-recommend them to others.
